I live this place, but I am to risk averse to gamble. Still, I love to wander the casinos and the strips, see the lights.
I would rather do so with a friend, but I was abandoned by Megan, Wendy, and Claire. They went to a Chippendale's show. Chippendale. This from women who have said "I'm so gay I shit rainbows." They want male strippers. They like women so much, why not come to a strip club with me? There is a topless show, but it was not on last night.
I think casinos are much like strip clubs. They are a way of giving money away very quickly. Personally, I prefer strip clubs. At least you get a dance out of it.
Lucky me. an old friend and drinking buddy was in Vegas. He lives in Miami, and bugged out. He drove to Atlanta, and then flew to Vegas. If you actually knew him, you would see this makes perfect sense to him.
He likes to gamble, but he only really likes craps. It is about the fairest game you get at the casino, the odds are only slightly in favor of the house. He really knows how to play, so I followed his bets, and we got lucky. Two spins of the roulette wheel, and I was lucky on both spins. Then we went to the sports book, and we bet on a college game each.
Then we got down to serious business, and drank a lot of beer while talking about sports.
So, I am up nicely. I have the trip paid for. I will, however, bet it all, and more, tonight.
