I will be leaving tomorrow for DC, and I will not meet with Megan at the hotel. She will be taking the train back the same day.
Megan cancelled it, and I did not ask for an explanation.
She offered one anyway. "This isn't the way we should stray. Fall vacation is fine, but not like this. Besides, you will have to worry about Claire."
Why should I worry about her? Megan seems to like making sure I am pretty much in the dark. I do not really like this, but her surprises have been nice so far. So maybe Claire has a surprise for me. Maybe she changed her hair.
