i just saw hella, and it was hella amazing (pun intended har har)! i just cant belive that drumming, it sounds like programmed techno beats. the first band was good like okay good, and instrumental grind band called sean. or shawn, i dunno. they threw a little casio into the audience and it hit my friends and they got to keep it. it had like 90 settings and 20 beats, it was really nice, surprisingly. the second band was this awful guy who played really fucked up slightly old western sounding piano, with really fucked up vocals. i wasnt listening to the lyrics, but im pretty sure they were about eating cold macaroni in an apartment with a bunch of cats. it was unintentionally depressing. of course, everyone stood through all of this with their arms crossed. its hella! you are all obviously a bunch of dorky, fruity weirdos, you might as well have a good time with it. i guess i can kinda, kinda understand not gettin down if its a band that just stands there, because thats asking for it a little. but if i were in a band and people just stood there, i would feel like shit. and i dunno get people who stand still, but then scream and yell retarded things at the end of songs. anyways, i danced and now i have sore feet. but im happy. not that good on record, but definitly a great band to see live. i have to pack now. i really am not anywhere near done, and the truck arrives (supposedly) at 11 am. with my luck it will be the only time in the history of the universe matt is on time. and im tired, despite all the coffee. i need some no-doze. maybe the coffee is working a bit, because i am rambling on like nobodies business. i feel very weird lately. everything feels surreal. goodbye seattle feeling, i guess. what awaits me? a bad situation, i think maybe. i dunno how things will work out. it is time for stormy weather, so they say.
