I'm terrible at posting on here.

I went to Scarborough this week and had one of my top 3 gigs. An absolute ripper. The room was low-lit rather than pitch black, so I could see the looks on the 150 odd peoples' faces as they laughed. It was amazing. They were pissing themselves at my setups. The kind of gig that keeps you in the game. I was one average gig away from re-assessing my material.

That was followed on Friday by a gig that I got last minute in Manc city centre. It was to about 12 people, 8 of which were acts on that night. I was on first (something I absolutely HATE doing because of the fact that the audience is less warmed up/drunk) and the compere was terrible (they weren't drunk OR warmed up when I went on).

I stood there at the back of the room expecting a sudden crash down to the reality of the open spot comic. I was wrong. I just had fun and had a good gig. Got everyone laughing really loudly. Right from their bellies. SATISFYING.

I did my gig and pissed off across town to another gig to watch and get drunk. A good night was had.

Last night I went off to see the Eagles of Death Metal at the Academy. RAWK.

'Twas mighty.

More drinking followed.

Off to Sheffield tonight where I will be doing the business and making people do the laughing. Can't wait.
