Today was brutal. By choice, I worked nine and a half hours (instead of eight) without a lunch break so that I could get this transcription done by the end of the day and seem like a keener to my colleagues. It took me EIGHT HOURS just to transcribe an 80 minute interview. Not good. In my defense, the sound quality was atrocious. There were huge chunks that were just mumbled, or strange ambient noise. I did my best, but maybe it wasn't good enough? Kind of upsetting. I've got another one to do tomorrow. Let's hope it goes better.
transcribing for 8 hours sounds like absolute torture.....
