WTF?
Is Social Distortion too good for New York? Is not playing New York a grand punk gesture? Perhaps and I do enjoy it as such, that at least is why SD is doing it, in my mind. I would like it even more if they had not chosen one of my favorite sleaze rock bands from Norway the Backyard Babies, who do not tour the US very often. Arghh. I feel cheated. Oh and did you hear Rancid's bassist is going to be playig with them, how awesome is that? Yet another reason to be pissed for those of us in NYC who are without cars and funds. I so would have paid the over priced ticket cost SD usually brings when they come to NYC for this but no, instead I will just buy a couple of forties, listen to all of my SD and BB records and stew in anger on the night they are playing in Jersey (of all places).
