Am I the only person that's sick of a lot of music out there nowadays? I mean, there are talented musicians nowadays, but... So much of the mainstream shit just seems to sound alike and it seems like nobody really appreciates individual talent anymore. I mean, back in the '60s and '70s you had bands like the Doors, Led Zeppelin, Eric Clapton and Black Sabbath... Read More
(Wow.. This ended up a lot longer than I had anticipated o_o If you want me to delete it Nattie, just tell me.)
Artists these days lack passion and, above all else, raw TALENT. So many people judge a band by the way they look or act, completely ignoring the fact that talent SHOULD be a factor here.
And rap.. Oh boy, don't get me started. Rap isn't music. It's people talking to a beat, quite literally. They don't sing in keys. They don't play in keys. Now, I don't claim to be a musical genius, but I love music, and I know enough to say that if there are no keys, there is no song. The sad thing is, many rock songs are being crossed and covered by rap stars. Don't get me wrong, that concept had it's moments-- Er, moment I should say. The only time when hip hop and rock and roll goes together was when Run DMC did "Walk This Way" with Aerosmith. Run DMC was about the only hip hop group I could tolerate.
But blasphemys such as a rap cover of "Crazy Train" (I dont know who did it.)
I have three words to this: WHAT. THE. FUCK.
The late Randall William Rhoads REVOLUTIONIZED heavy metal today with that song's classic opening riff and mind-blowing solo. To me, he is a saint of music, a God of Rock and Roll. The man spent every waking hour of his life playing guitar. He did not use drugs. He rarely would drink. He was a man so dedicated to his art, that while on tour when he hired classical guitar teachers, the lesson would often end with the teachers learning more from HIM. Now, to.. Basically, SPIT ON HIS GRAVE to let this blasphemous rap cover of his crowning achievment.. It's sickening. It makes me wonder how such a travesty could ever happen. Sadly, this isn't the only occasion...
Puff Daddy came out with a new song a couple of years back, called "Come With Me." Strangely, the song sounds very familiar.. Like, Led Zeppelin's "Kashmir" familiar. I wonder why this is? Oh, maybe it's because.. THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT IT IS! James Patrick Page, the dark lord, the Hammer of The Gods, the Great One HIMSELF not only ALLOWED this blasphemy, but he actually PLAYED GUITAR for it via satellite. Have you lost your mind, Jimmy? Were you drunk when you accepted to do this?! Please tell me you were. Because it's just heartbreaking to think that you could have been sober and fully, completely allowed this to happen.
And now, I've heard rumors that the remaining members of The Doors are going to remake some classic songs with Snoop Dog. I hope and pray that these rumors are FALSE.
Also, say what you want about Michael Jackson, but he owns the rights to all of the Beatles' songs. And he hasn't let ANYONE touch them. That's at least worthy of a pat on the back, or a few African boys desperate to come to America.
I have to say something, and I pray I don't get snarked at or scorned for it. Know that this is aimed at some of my male watchers and not at the girls.
Joke-flirting once in awhile is alright. I'll aim this a little at the girls because I know I have been doing that with them. But a constant, blatant disregarding for the fact... Read More

Well, cincity requested it, and here it is. I apologize for the occasional tense switching; I wrote this like 2 years ago and I don't feel like rediting it. I also lost ideas at the end, so hence the cliffhanger. >>

Since I got my subscription to this site (Thank you, Brady! ♥!!), I've actually really seemed to benefit from it. I've gained friends, opened up even more about my sexuality, gained a bit of a boost of self esteem... It's great, and almost surprising.
Well I've not had the same, I've developed crushes who repy to my posts on their blogs with minimal response, but nothing that would be a lasting friend, nothing that makes my ego get stoked or the like. That's the problem with being a boy. Theres about a billion of us on here, and we all want the attention of our fave girls, who, have real life b/fs anyway. :p
MONDAY JULY 25 2005 7:04 PM
I NEED TO GET LAID. SO BADLY.
*Checks flight information* I'm coming, just wait right there!

*Storyness*
Not bad shows real talent exists there, If your interested, let me know, I'll stick up a couple of my more award winning poems (even though I detest my own work).
And as for Cin and Krys with the funny walk... You caqn get the same from me, No story necessary. ;-)
I feel like writing again. I just tried before, but it felt so shitty. It was a sort of poem based lightly on my erotic story "Jessi's" that I wrote a coupla years ago - girls, of course. Writing about men and women having sex is so... Dull, ya know? At least, to me. The real thing is divine, of course, but I think women... Read More

"It's a damn shame, son. Your John Stamos has rabies. I'm gonna have to put him down."
My favorite movie is on Oxygen right now - Gia. Love that movie so much. Angelina Jolie is just so amazingly beautiful and sexy, and she's a talented actress too - so it's all just such a winning combination! Gia Carangi was beautiful too. :3
For some reason, watching this movie makes me miss Bryan more. ;;
Good thing, let me know when you want to send that out and I'll send you my info.
