It seems one can't really say we're dating anymore. I got the e-mail dump a few hours ago. Went to her place of work in hopes of talking, which didn't work out. Did manage to be awkward, though. One of her co-workers asked if I was her boyfriend...said 'yes' just to avoid explanations. Fuck.

You don't date? Is that part of the social anxiety thing, or a career(by which I mean education at this stage) thing? Not that it's a bad call.

Shots, eh? Well, when you don't care to waste time...I'd love to stay and chat and maybe get contact drunk, but alas I have a bus to catch shortly. Enjoy the drinking.

For some reason I'm still here. Not that I actually have to be anywhere...

The irony is, that's pretty much my policy. I only date someone I can see myself marrying, and only as long as I can see that in our future. Thus (among other reasons), this is my second relationship in almost 22 years. And by far the shortest.

Personally, I'd like to give up entirely. If only that seemed like a workable plan.
