dilemma #1 : I want to leave that poem visible, but I also want to update...
dilemma # 2 : I may have just stumbled across the love of my life, and have no idea what to say.

and he said... merci.

wednesday was feeling like crap so went up on the roof -- looking at the city cheers me. then a neighbor opened his office window & we started flirting.
until all of a sudden some other annoying neighbor decides to call the fire department.
well, first he told me to Get Down Now, and I was kinda like Who the fuck are you to order me around?!
when I saw him get out his phone I left. quickly. a block away heard sirens and stopped to watch two fire trucks park in front of my building. Pas sympa, monsieur!
spent the rest of the day feeling like I was running from the law. but he must have looked like such a fool when they got up there with their ladders and -- Behold! No hibou!

other misc:
1. I am now officially a published poet! we had the reading/launch party on monday and I was asked for autographs & have even gotten fan email (kinda! it was weird).
2. went down a manhole on thursday with a beautiful french boy; he showed me around the 13th.
3. fought with my fiance
4. have been fighting with most everyone, actually.
5. except for best friend G., who has been wonderful (while I have been teary and self-obsessed...), and who has also lent me the first season of six feet under.
6. which I'd never seen before & spent all day watching.
7. am thinking of going to the marche at porte de clingancourt tomorrow morning. want to look at things/books/people. & need to get out of myself for a bit.
8. I am starting to feel better.
