Today was my second day riding my bike. Yesterday was the first time I rode since I laid it down about a month ago. It felt good getting back on but I was nervous as hell. I had butterfly's and everything. But once I got on and started going, it was great. I started setting challenges for myself as far as what distances I should go and practicing my starts in first gear instead of second. Starting off in second gear saved my ass yesterday, but today I needed to work on first gear.

Today I rode down to picnic point beach and back and then a bunch of loops through the neighborhood. Then after a while my friend came over with his bike and we decided to hit a couple intersections. Scary shit! I stalled my bike twice, and there was traffic all around yeah I felt like a dumb ass, but I kept it together and got going. We reached starbucks and relaxed with some coffee and headed back to the beach. All in all it was a good ride, but the intersections suck ass for me because I want to take it slow and I hate having people wait on me. Puts a lot of pressure on the Bacon.

I need to remind myself that I'm in no hurry.
