I just watched one of the craziest storms I've seen in a long time. I just stood out on a friends porch for about an hour while the sky was lighting up like crazy. There was so much lighting it looked like there were strobe lights behind the clouds. Unfortunately there were so many damn clouds and the rain was so thick that you could rarely see the actual bolts, but when you did, they were huge and lasted a really long time. Man I really love storms. I remember times as a kid just running around in terrible storms while my mom yelled at me to come inside because there were tornado warnings. Man those were good days. I havent run through the pouring down rain in a while. I guess Im getting lame in my old age. I need some friends that are as enthusiastic as I am about storms. Or a cool lady friend that enjoys stuff like that.

What else happened today hmm not much really. I had my last day of making sales calls to my customers and I also turned in my company car. Tomorrow all I have to do is drive over to my office around 10ish or so and start getting ready for lunch. We are having a cook out for my last day of work and of course since Im leaving to go to culinary school, everyone keeps talking about how I need to cook everything. What I think is funny is that Im ALWAYS the one to cook when we are BBQn so Im not sure whats different now. Plus its not like we are doing anything special, Im just making burgers and brats for everyone. Pretty standard stuff.

Ahhh, time to get ready for bed. Im so excited that I get to sleep in tomorrow! Ive had to get up too damn early all week.
