That's it... I'm back from Europe. What a fucking fantastic time! Paris is the greatest city on the face of the earth and if I spoke more French and had a little more money in the old bank account then I think I would have just stayed out there. Walking down the streets of Paris was always an adventure and there were spectacular sights all around me. It was absolutely breath taking at all times. And the food... THE FOOD... I was out there for culinary school and could not have been happier with the food, every single meal I had was great.
Italy could have been a little more exciting for my taste. We stayed in a smaller town called Asti (Yes from the sparkling wine fame) and there just wasn't much going down in the city. But we still had a pretty good time just going out to dinner and enjoying the company of those others with us on the trip.
About the only negative of the trip was that my ex-gf that is also in the class got pissed off at all the the people in the class and decided to take of early. That really sucked for me because we were having a great time for the majority of the trip and there were things in Paris that would have been much more exciting if she were there by my side. She's still a great friend, so it was upsetting to see her go because she let the other people on the trip get to her.
Oh well... it was still fantastic and now I know that I HAVE to get back to Paris some day... what a great place.
