My week of woe - Part 2 :
So here goes - now the video card in my main computer has died, and I have no suitable replacements on hand - luckily its still under warranty, though the first response I got was that it'd take 3 to 4 weeks(!) to get it checked out and replaced. This isn't mail-order folks - 3 to 4 weeks just wasn't acceptable to me. Later in the day I got a call back saying up to 10 business days instead - much better, but it still sucks. Right now I'm on this ancient laptop aquired from work, which works but just doesn't do anything I really want to to (photoshop / games etc)
Well at least I have something I suppose..
