I only have 3 tattoos. Not enough... lol. I'm due for another, and that will be happening in about a month. I just want to share the few that I have and their meanings.
You can see my first tattoo in my blog from earlier today. It is a small nautical star. I thought I was the baddest bitch when I got that as a teenager... bahaha. My ex husband has the matching tattoo. Yeah. It's okay though, we're still friends and still cheer each other on in life.
Yes. I catch a lot of shit for my strange obsession with Fall Out Boy... but I love them. I have been a fan since I was a junior in high school. The lyrics "Dance alone to the beat of your heart" is from their song The Phoenix. I love that lyric so much. FOB and their music has gotten me through some pretty terrible times in my life.
I have seen them in concert 5 times and have met them 6 times.... I am seeing them and meeting them again in March. No, I'm not a stalker... I'm just a fangirl. Lol
The rhythm strip was also super fitting because I am a nurse and have been for almost 10 years.
My tiny dragonfly... my mom and I share this tattoo. We got this in memory of my best friend. She committed suicide when we were 16. She absolutely adored dragonflies. ♡ I miss her every, single day of my life and I will never stop trying to bring awareness to mental illness. The world lost a beautiful soul the day she left.
