perhaps to see if I could catch a nutria or two trying to get into my garden


i smoked a spliff


watered the garden


no nutria


even my chickens were still on their roost for this cool and cloudy morn


go-go on the front page ...mon dieu that woman is so amazingly hot



drop the kids off by noon and then go work in the whit


...painting a pal's mildly clandestine auto repair shop

...site of this year's mainstage for the whiteaker block party

no playing for me this month, or so it would appear

will have kids for this weekend's big whiteaker hullaballoo

and no housesitter has stepped up for me to go to beloved

(must admit I was looking forward to seeing the tantra tent firsthand

...the music woulda been interesting too)

so next week I get six days, sans les enfants, to vacation at home

or just putz around on overnight trips here and there

avoiding work as best I can


for now, i'm high on the couch in a quiet house, listening to the cars go by
