First of all, thanks for all the happy birthdays.

So this morning I tried to win the new Foo Fighters cd. Now, I'm not some crazy Foo Fighter fan but I heard a couple of the acoustic tracks and was like, I like this. So this station known here as Sonic 102.9 was giving away their cds. now, when they're about to give one away, they announce it....but I was at work during the time that they do the cd give away. My work plays music off of a satalite. so...I had to guess when they were giving one away. so from around 8-10 I was constantly trying to phone to see if I won. I had to make these calls on my cell outside in the rain, as to not get caught by the man. My boots and socks were soaked. I must have spent at least half an hour on my phone calling or trying to call them. I got through five times. I didn't win any of those times. It was my damn birthday and all I wanted was to win that cd. I couldn't even do that. Needless to say, I was very sad and felt very emo. I must write it out in my journal, and listen to emo...but I don't really have emo...nor screamo...I think I might have something that resembles metal somewhere in the back of my computer that I never listen to anymore....anyways...I will not let this drag down the rest of my entry...

Supper was with my mom and bro at a place called Cafe Mossaic. Very tasty. They even got me a slice of cake and the girl serving us(who was tattooed o0o) gave me this shocked look when she found out how old I was. I wanted to cry. She thought I was maybe turning 18. nope. but nice that she thought I looked young...I got some gifts which was really nice of them, seeing as that I'm old and probably shouldn't be getting gifts anymore...then I watched a movie with my cousin...she got me a card and some candies. yum.

So on my way home, I went to the bank to deposit money to save for my trip. Just outside of which, I met a man who had his car towed, with his money and what not inside. He lives in a place called Millet and is doing work here. His wallet was in the car as well. All he had on him were some photocopies of his id n such. He called co-workers and wife, but noone answered. He asked for some money so he could untowe his car or get to his hotel...that sort of thing. He said he'd take my address or number and pay me back. I wrote my address and phone nunber on the paper with his photocopied id and gave him the $40 he asked for.
He seemed sincere and honest. I believed him and understood what he was going through. There has been more then one case where I was completely fucked. No one would help or stop or anything. And you get really down. and then, just when you think you're completely alone, someone that you don't know, comes along and helps you out of the kindness of their heart.

That is what people should do. Help other people. Not think, what will they get out of it, but rather, knowing that they did the right thing, helping someone in a tight spot. You'd do it for your friends, why not people you don't know? Because you heard from a friend that they did a nice thing once and got screwed? One bad seed doesn't mean that all the seeds are bad. He may mail me my money, he may not. But those are things he has to deal with, because I'm not going to lose sleep over it. Over whether or not he's a good person. If he has to go around making up some story to get money, then he obviously needs it more then I do. Money causes problems. I wish we could all do without.
I know as long as I have family, friends, music and love, I'll be one happy boy. Even if there is no money there.

now, who's up for some opiv?

I know... 5 hours is ridiculously long. I don't think I'll ever do it again.
