Holiday Sunday?

So I have decided that, since holidays generally put people in a good mood, that today shall be holiday sunday(a better name is in the works). I am in the midst of cooking a tasty tofurkey, making mashed potatoes, corn, dumplings etc. This should be a tasty night. And what tasty night is complete without movies? So I went out and rented(in this order):

1. Romper Stomper(I keep wanting to see this movie, but it's always out...but not
today!),

2. Repo Man(oh...man. so the one time I decide to not check that it is the correct
movie behind the showcase[I used to work at a video store so I know all about
you stupid tools who decide to give people like me the bums rush by replace
your crap movies{in this case Legally Blond...don't get me wrong. I enjoyed the
movie...but it was not the movie I wanted to see...hence 'your crap movie'} with
my good movies{good not because they are actually good, but because I want to
watch that movie...hence 'my good movies'} is the one time that is in fact, not
the correct movie behind the showcase. Of course I noticed when I got home, so
I got to walk back to the video store and find out that the movie is not in.
Now..I'm no quitter so I went down to the other video store to see if they had
it...and they did. so in the end I win. No more bum rushing...But who ever you
are who preformed this dastardly deed: you suck. and if I ever get the chance to
meet you, don't think that I won't think twice about tea bagging you...cuz I
will...bastard),

3. Near Dark (how could I not? After all, I only hosted a zombie party complete
with veggie zombie loaf, zombie eyes, zombie movies and games and one
wicked nasty zombie drink...gah...can't believe how bad that drink was...but
um...yeah...mid-late 80's zombie movie...oh yeah!),

4. Family Guy: Stewie Griffin: the untold story(oh man I miss being able to watch
this show..along with a bunch of others. *sigh* oh well. I made my bed and I'll
sleep in it. 'cides, I'd rather have internet.)

of course what sucks is that usually for such events I have people over(pumpkin carving contests, thanksgiving dinner, x-mas dinner etc.) . But since I decided last night that today would be a holiday...I didn't think anyone would be available. So...it will be just the Gavin and myself tonight. Which I don't mind. He's a swell dude to chill with when he isn't meowing for attention...
