Aaaaaa, back from Nawlins!!! What a fun, fun weekend!! So, from the beginning:
Got there Thursday night, and immediately met some people and went out. I think we went to 2 or 3 bars - not in the Quarter, we stayed in the more local places that night. But we partied like rock stars; out till 6.30am!! We made some "friends" at the bar - lovely girls I tell ya!!
Friday we had some benies and walked around the Quarter. The crappy thing is that the weather kinda sucked all weekend - it was rainy and wet and gloomy. Anyway, then had a quick bite to eat, got home and got ready for dinner at Emeril's. Unfortunately, the food was not great. I mean, it was not bad, but it was not great. And if I will pay lots and lots of $$$ for food, it need to be great. Afterwards just went out for some more drinking, but didn't stay out too late.
Saturday was much of the same. Lunch we had oysters and alligator!! Yum - alligator is actually quite yummy!! Then we went to Bourbon and the drinking started: hurricane after hurricane after hurricane. Did the whole beads thing, took some good pics, saw some guy get in a fight with a cop and get whopped, went to a piano bar, had some more hurricanes, went to the strip club, spent way too much money, ate super late night food, and rolled up at the hotel at around 6.30am again.
But then Sunday sucked. Woke up hungover as fuck!! Didn't leave the hotel till about 3pm, and returned to it around 7pm. And then we just stayed in - watched hotel porn, ordered room service and took some funny ass pictures. Very very soon I will post awhole bunch! And then I flew back this morning - first thing I did? Get to my computer and play on SG.
OK, I need to read some journals, see the new sets, get used to this hearts background and then do some reading for tomorrow.
