It has been quite awhile since I updated my journal. Things have been hectic.
My dad and sister came into town last Friday - at a time when I had (and still have) a crapload of work to do. But at least they left this morning. Not that I did not like to have them here - it is just that I live in a fuckin studio and it was three of us for five days. And I had to balance entertaining them with school. It was not working out very well. I did though get to eat alot. I went to Greektown, The Signature Room at the Hancock building and other excellent establishments.
And of course all that cut into my SG time. I did not appreciate that either. But now I am back and very excited about it!
It has been so stressful lately - group projects, presentations, mass amounts of readings. But tonight I will go out after class and get me wasted. It shall be a fabulous time.
Can't write a whole lot more, since I still have some reading and a paper to do. But now I can basically relax.
I will write back with more exciting tales of drunkeness and stupidity! Till then...

I've had some friends say I should fly to Chi-town to check it out, and others who say it's not all that.
Speaking of food, I was driving through some rural coastal town 3-4 hours southwest of my base (middle of fucking nowhere, in fact), and I saw a no-shit souvlaki stand. The owner wasn't there (in fact, nobody Greek was working that day), but they had it going on--music, pictures, etc. Surreal.
