eh, my membership auto-renewed on me when i really should've used the $18 on something else. like beer or cigarettes.

that's funny, i remember when i could get a carton of smokes for $17. not generic shit, camel lights baby. nowadays a carton of american spirits runs me damn near $40. or if i'm dumb enough to buy them from the machine at palomino it comes out to $55. for fuck's sake, weed is cheaper than cigarettes. that's fucked up.

last night was mighty fine. i drank some wine with my girlie at her house and we laughed at tv. anyone else sick of hearing about brad pitt & jennifer anniston from the fuckwads on the tabloid talk shows? then i went to cactus for some late night beers & we (bartender & i) ended up at bay view family diner discussing a friend's breakup with him. the wounds were as fresh as the corned beef hash. dumbass me slept too long and missed out on my morning routine of having a smoothie, eggs, & bacon. watching maury povich, and showering. now i'm stuck in a bad hair day and i'm smelly. and hungry.

i want a kayak. did i mention that already?

i want a digital camera too. but i know that i would never have it on me when i need it. and i'd probably leave it at the bar.

today at my po box, i recieved a videotape of one of my daughters (adopted by a family now). she's 7 now. holy jesus i'm getting old.
