so the big suicide girls show was last night. i hitched a ride with Monet and we listened to peaches while we were stuck on the edens. we hopped on the "el" and headed downtown to check out this store called "strawberry" at 200 west randolph. well, we got to 200 west randolph and there was no strawberry, but a parking garage instead. so Monet was all bummed out because Brandy had told her how she needs to check that place out. we hoofed around and grabbed some food at a chinese place. mine was ok, but Monet's was fucking nasty so she got a refund and a sub instead. cheese & tomato. yummmm!

so we take the blue line back out to damen and stop at her car to grab a hoodie. then we walk up to quimby's for the booksigning/sg meetup. the sidewalks in that part of town are royally fucked up. plus every creepy guy in a car had something to hoot and holler at to Monet. we were a block away from the bookstore when we heard running footsteps behind us. it was Synnove & userlame. those bastards sneaked up on us! we said our hellos, and heard "PANTS" being hollered from across the street. it was Wren & devilducky. so we all loitered outside the bookstore until the sg van pulled up and some of the hottest hotties i've ever seen piled out of the van.

the bookstore was cool as shit. i was pretty intimidated by the sg's, especially Stormy because i had to make myself not stare at her.yeah, she was that hot. we sat on the floor like kindergarteners for missy's spiel, and i had to hold back farts caused by the aforementioned chinese food. after the spiel, the tour girls left for sushi and our posse which now included Kira, doctashoc, EvanX, Ophelia, and others i never learned the names of hit this place for new york style pizza & beer. i was by this point really thirsty for beer, and not really as social as i would have liked.

so on to the show! first of all, the double-door fucking sucked some major dick. the staff (with the exception of one bartender up in the balcony) were assholes and poured weak ass drinks. the opening bands were terribly lame (you think the suicide girls could get some decent openers, but no....) and the atmosphere in the place was hot and i picked up bad vibes from most everybody there (except the sg folks i was with). i enjoyed the show at cactus club in february much more than this one, but it wasn't any of the tour girls' fault. what i was able to see of the show was amazing, especially Pearl's hula-hoop thing. the place was just a little too big and lame for me to really get into it, and as i said before and will reiterate, the staff were fucking assholes.

after the show, we said our goodbyes and went across the street for some grub. Monet had some cheese pizza and i had a chili dog and a big ass lemonade. then it was back to her car for the exhausted ride home. that walk back to her car might have been the highlight of the night for me, Monet & i were laughing our asses off at everything!. i got home at 4am and konked hard.
