sunday brought my 22-day bender to an end. i intended taking a 2-day break from alcohol, but last night i shared two bottles of cherry wine at jenni & kelly's pad and ended up playing pool with jenni at garibaldi's. &2.50 beck's darks and p-funk's. it was one of those "i love you man" drunks, i was hellbent on expressing truly what her friendship means to me. parting, we had one of those 5 minute hugs. she went home & i went to the cactus.
it was packed. i found a stool and had a blatz. i ran into kelly-z who puts on the variety shows at cactus. she's super friendly & nice, people at the cactus are generally pretty snobby - i've drank there for years and the only people who are friendly are the bartenders, which is just as well. i'm working on a cd right now, and she might be doing the female vocal on my cover of the vaseline's "slushy".
i rearranged my furniture yesterday. i put items for sale up in my display windows. kelly & i are starting a business on e-bay selling her old emo/hipster clothes & shit. cool, huh?
