i'm back from a long-ass road trip. Chattanooga, Tennessee is a fucking great town! it happens to be the halfway point between my beloved beer city & tampa, florida. we drove down thursday night & checked into the chattanooga choo-choo hotel on market street, and then set out for a long night of drinking at the world famous Stone Lion Tavern (418 High St - greatest bar in the fucking world!!!). whenever i'm in town i drink there, heavily, and thursday was no exception. we gorged on $1.50 PBR tallboys and met a couple of local girls, julia & stephanie and proceeded to get wasted. it was julia's birthday and a very memorable night.
then it was on to tampa, where the weather was great. except for all that working, i had a great time. but we didn't stay long. as soon as work was over we bought 2 bottles of jack daniels and a carton of parliament lights and hit the road back to chattanooga. ok, this is last night. we met up with julia & stephanie at the stone lion to get started. then back to there place where we drank whiskey, smoked herb, & bullshitted until 6am or so and crashed on the floor. awake again today at 10am for a greasy spoon breakfast and the 12 hour drive back to milwaukee. i just walked in the door a few minutes ago and have a busy (good busy) week ahead of myself.
here we go: userlame & Synnove get into town tomorrow. i need to go vote for al sharpton in the wisconsin primaries tomorrow. landmark night is tomorrow, "get ready, liver!!" and wednesday is old man bar night on riverwest with megan (new crush here??) and of course the OC is on at 8pm sharp. thursday, i assume i'll be drinking somewhere with some people. and friday is the long-anticipated SG burlesque @ the cactus club in beer city. i can't wait to meet all the madison folks!! and saturday night i will hit up madison to see the Menstrual Tramps show and also attend the SG madison party with fallenicarus and other madison members. then will i have the energy to take this party to the twin cities for drunken tomfoolery with a girl i met last month?? (prolly not.....just a good thought........fantasy)

i was through chatanooga once ... definitely seemed like a cool town...wish i could have stayed longer. looking forward to friday!
