liz phair show tonight. i've been waiting for this show for a long time, and getting to go for free makes it even better. i hope she plays 'divorce song', 'stratford-on-guy', 'fuck & run' and a set heavy on old favorites. i have to drive, i hope it stops raining before then because my car's window doesn't stay shut unless you duck tape the shit out of it.
it's not even 4pm and it's getting dark out. i need a nap so it's convenient.
i'm letting my new material "marinate" for awhile before i finish it up. i'm excited to put a new record out even though i know it will be a $$$ losing adventure.
the ALF theme just came on my iPod! no joke!
back to the music; i am such a shitty lyricist. i can do the notes & chords on a guitar just fine, i can play the drums like a cyborg, and i sing like a bird. but i have nothing to say, or nothing inside that i am comfortable expressing in a sincere way. so won't someone write lyrics for me.....pleeeeease?

oh... I was going to suggest the tattoo convention but was beaten to it... I'll write lyrics for you, what do you want to sing about? four-way stop signs? I write a lot about four-way stop signs.
