i went to the beach yesterday (mckinley) and it was just gorgeous. with my eyes shut it felt exactly like hawaii in january, except that damn lakewater was so cold. it felt refreshing as soon as i could muster the balls to completely submerge myself. then off to rocky rococo's for some free pizza. did i mention i really love free food?

so i watched a movie last night which is something i don't normally do. movies are too long & i have a dreadfully short attention span. but we watched punch drunk love and i thought it was a'ight. i pay too much attention to camera angles and what i feel is happening off-screen (like light placements) to really enjoy a film. i guess i'm a big 'ol nerd.

so tonight i'm leaving for chi-town (one of those business trip thingys where i work my ass off) in just a few minutes to be exact. i'll be back probably real late saturday night, and for sure on sunday. i'll be checking out the show at the cactus club on sunday - it's the response and the saltshakers. i heart the cactus club! anyhow, i hope i have lots & lots of messages to read when i come back, and i hope everyone gets to have a great weekend.
