i am way hung-over today. last night was a whiskey night and what a whiskey night it were! just one of those laid back nights where you sit around and half-watch some videos, hoping you don't run out of cigarettes.

the night out was friday. went with kelly to the rock show to check out Bosio & a few other bands. we saw a total of 4 bands that night which is crazy because we ended up drinking at 4 bars after the show. what symmetry!

can you believe this? the pool in my area closes for the season on monday. Hello? this is the hottest fucking month of the year and you're just gonna close the fucking pools? is the city smoking crack? i went yesterday with jenny after we played some tennis and it felt soooo good. now i know what i must do - we'll sneak in under the cover of darkness before they drain the pool. it would be so perfect. i'll even bring a baby ruth bar down to get the party started.

oh yeah, and anything off the donnie darko soundtrack. i saw that movie for the first time this week (and loved it).

so i ordered a stuffed domo-kun from japan. this little guy is so cute i can't bear to wait the 7-10 days until delivery. i hear he 'breaks wind' when he gets pissed off. my kind of guy. domo-kun is slowly replacing badtz-maru as my favorite japanese import. (a big fuck you to sanrio for phasing out badtz-maru, who's next, kerouppi?)
