what a night last night! i bathed the area in tiki torch light, set up a sound system in the yard, hung some x-mas lights; it made for a fucking good time. lotsa food from a grill, beer, & pals = what summer is all about.
also.....(cute girl alert!)......this girl Bianca came to the thing, i've never met her before. at steve's request she hit him over the head with a metal folding chair. this girl is just radiant, and i was taken in by her charms - completely. it's probably one of those deals where i'll never see her again, but all this chicken i've been eating is telling me to be more hopeful for some reason.
i better go return the borrowed grills, chairs, tables, etc. oh yeah, and clean up the place a bit. i hope everyone is enjoying themselves as much as i've been these past few weeks.
hail to the CHICKEN!

Hail, nonetheless.
I think i already like Champaign better. I was going (/dragged) there every once in a while last year with my goth friend to goth nights at Chester Street and Ruby's for a little while. Not that the goth scene is exactly my bag... but at least it HAS a goth scene. I like my populace to be a little left of mainstream, but i think i could make the best of it if it turns out to be Normal part deux. Or all goth. God, that would suck.
