I went back to that bar and sure enough she (lisa the peach) was there, but for some reason it didn't feel right and i left after just one beer and didn't talk to her much. i'll probably see her around, but the good vibes from tuesday were not there wednesday.
last night was strangely cool. at work we were doing some spring cleaning and when 5 o' clock rolled around instead of going home, ryan brought a 12'er of st. Pauli girl over and we decided to grill out some sausages right there on the sidewalk. we're right along the 53 bus route, which is up for elimination soon, and we put up signs that say "We support the 53, don't take our public transit away!" and we gave all the bus drivers on the route a free bratwurst. a neighbor girl named sadie came down and had some wine with us, and by 11 we are all drunk. sadie gave me an Ambien pill and i took it, a half-hour later we're down at the park by the lake and i can barely stand up! she ended up driving me home, and within 3 minutes of entering my house i was puking ( like there was no tomorrow. then i fell asleep and slept like a baby.
I am not doing ambien again. those fuckers will fuck you up (especially w/8 or 9 beers in the tank)
but i would like to see sadie some more.
Oh, i also found out that i am going on a long road trip starting sunday night, and we won't be getting back to Milwaukee until the 11th or 12th of July. We will go to St. Louis (where there are warrants out for my arrest so i better be real careful there) and then to Greensboro, NC, and from there we have an entire week to get our filthy asses up to Rhode Island for a single day of work, and 2 or 3 days to make the drive back to Milwaukee.
So i have to find out some shit to do along the way to make this trip fun.
