the welcome back kotter theme song makes me so happy. it's bouncy, melodic, and just a fine chart by mr. john sebastian (what else has that guy done that's any good?). And the vocal version of suicide is painless (mash theme) is creepy as fuck. Those singers sound like they were just dug up from the local cemetery! As some of you know, I just bought a computer, and for the first time i'm experiencing the joy of downloading music. I think maybe TV theme songs are my favorite genre - possibly because, being a sheltered lad, I was not allowed to watch anything other than Mr. Rogers, and that theme song kind of blows - no disrespect to the man, but he would've had better ratings if he went edgy. He's dead, so i guess it doesn't matter anymore - that guy will live forever in syndication.

So all y'all people who grew up on TV, suggest a favorite TV theme and I will download it and walk around listening to it.

Oh last night I had an idea for a great body mod. I want to have speakers installed in my abdomen, with RCA jacks to plug in a cd player, etc..... That way i could walk the streets and always have music blasting. People would see my speakers (one on each side of my navel) and be like what the fuck? If you know any surgeons who perform this procedure, let me know.

Erm...
Believe it or not, mork n mindy.
We're gonna do it, luverne and shirley.
Gimme a break, theme.
But my favorite.... my PERSONAL favorite is the theme from saved by the bell. I have never watched a tv show more than i watched that show.

no big fat major chord yet... everything is diminished. anyways, how about the theme from Sanford and Son? that tune keeps me within my skin whenever i'm coherced into a shopping mall (especially mayfair - pottery barn kids... wtf?!?).
