i received a letter from my advisor today...i have to complete 48 credits, 80hours of work with children - take about 8 classes in one semester, take the praxis, and declare my major all by the end of fall '04...
now that wouldn't be so bad 'cept this is my first semester of freakin' college! everybody else in my major gets 2 years to complete this all...i get two semesters? wtf? she said it's bc i started in the spring instead of in the fall like everyone else or something gay.
i'm sorry but i'm paying for school myself and can't afford summer classes....
i should've just sucked it up and stayed in school last year...then i'd have 2 years under my belt, be entering my major now...not nearly as stressed as i am at this moment...
how the hell do they expect me to declare my major after 1 year of college??
p.s. i didn't transfer anything from pitt. i'm screwed.
