Woke up to the news that gay marriage is now legal in my state. I'm still in shock. This is amazing news to me. It means the world to me that one day I can marry my girlfriend and not have the law working against us. I am also happy for my many LGBT friends who will see a better future because of this.

@Panthergirl I don't even really undersatnd why it is a big deal to these people. It seems like the masses who are about 70% Christian in the US feel that the world will end if gay people can get married. Senator Ted Cruz who I actaully like has really let me down with the bill he is going to introduce the senate is back in session. He basically wants to make it so that states and cities can undo the no ruling from the supreme court and undo the decisions of the lessor courts. There are many problems with this the first and formost is that he has outed himself as a religous bigot, second a bill like that going through the courts will set the foundation for states and municipal governments overturning rulings on the second, first, fourth, seventh, ext amendment because it gets in their way of political agendas. I just want to live in a free society were gay people can protect there marajuana plants with full automatic weapons and be left in peace like everyone else.. The stupidity that gets tossed around as politics these days is really just sad.
