Hey wow my set went up around new years, that's awesome. Time to shoot some new photos ha. Need to find a new photographer though. I haven't updated this blog in so long I've been up to heaps of stuff, I just don't know where to begin.
Went camping after Xmas in a beautiful place called Kaitoke, days were filled with bushwalks and drinking crystal clear kaitoke water, swimming in the river, and walking to Rivendell! ha it was awesome considering I had just watched Lord of the Rings for like the third time recently, Rivendell is pretty as, but there's not really that much there related to the movie except for some signs and stuff but it is definitely a nice place to visit. There was also of course lots of drinking on this camping trip, and lots of rain! Went to a wedding as well.
I love it that it's summer, the days are so nice and warm. I've got a bit of a tan from getting so sunburned though haha, soon I'll look like the NZ Maori I really am ha.
Went to a one day music festival thing called Big Day Out. It was fun, Tool, Muse, The Killers, Peaches, Trivium and heaps of others played. Went to a sweet gig the night before to see PEaches and others play. Was up the front the whole time Peaches was on. Best concert of my life, she is amazing live! Couldn't get to see her play again the next day at Big Day out though cuz i t was too packed. The whole day was waay too packed, it took so long to buy a drink or get anywhere, and you couldn't even get into the mosh pits properly which sucked, I love being up the front ha. Flew up with a friend and stayed at a nice hotel with her and my boyfriend who came up later the night before, then flew back, exhausted the night after. It sucks though because it was in Auckland where they're going to have heaps of awesome gigs coming up - Hatebreed, Slayer, Mastodon, Lamb of God, and others in the next few months and I can't afford to go up again at the moment
Oh well at least there's Parkway Drive next Thursday I have been looking forward to this gig for sooo long I love Parkway Drive. And NOFX are coming, I kinda like them as well
I wish Uni would hurry up and start I miss university it's weird. Been writing heaps lately, some 'work' writing, and some working on my novel which i hope hope hope will be finished this year. What have you been doing??
