Ah, only a week until the Soiree. A time of joy and a time of tears. I grieve because the most competent, and by far coolest motherfucking manager at my work is being promoted to General Manager of another store. Oh well, Eric and I got him a bottle of Captain Morgan as a going away gift, so I'm sure he'll appreciate that. It is his favorite, after all.

In other news, the costume design for the Soiree continues unabated. I will be forever in my friend Liz's debt for helping me out with this. At the very least, I'm gonna owe her a nice dinner somewhere.

And last but not least, Eric and I went to Tiffany Diner again after work and met some of his friends he knew from before college. They was cool people. One of 'em was cute, too.

But, I suppose all's well that ends well, right? Well, tonight's gonna end well, because I'm gonna finish it watching Fight Club, a movie I never actually saw all of because the first time I saw it, I was with my then-girlfriend and, well... you know how it is.
