Lipsi's poems!

Sorry they're short and seemingly unfinished, they're kinda like streams of consciousness which don't fit together because I wrote them all at different times in different states of mind

(which I just explained her her lol)

so, here they go in the order I typed them

I am kin to the tall tree who fell when no one was around
I am the shade tree whose occupants are absent so I only cool the ground
I stand here, arms wide, observing passers-by offering comfort to those who look my way
I am not concerned with my own needs; I know Ill be okay
The tall tree seeks my shade broken by the negligence of others who ignored her when she fell
Those who look away while her heart breaks
Her soul feels so heavy and she cant take the weight so she just waits
But time has passed and the cracks have lengthened and her mind simply cannot take it
So she fell, broken and beautiful under my outstretched limbs for relief from today and help for tomorrow
So I wrap my roots around hers and upright her heart and rid her of her sorrow
Well stretch and grow like never before until weve reached the heavens above
Shes one in a million I tell ya shes more than enough.

Soon as her index compresses the button or her pencil strikes the paper
Her soul sets forth on a path beyond knowledge
You cannot comprehend the complexity of the emotion behind her artwork
Your mind cannot fathom the love behind those eyes
Crisp contrasts of peace and war run briskly down each print and pore

My heart yearns to cry but my eyes disapprove
My mind says to breathe but my lungs refuse to move
Her eyes burn with passion like never ending embers
Her face, cold as ice, beautiful like a morning in late December
