Today I shall clean my house for Thanksgiving.
My cousins are coming up to spend the day with us.

We will have....
Turkey
Stuffing
Potatoes and gravy
Rolls with honey butter
Green Bean Casserole
Candied Yams
Cranberries
Pumpkin Pie
Pecan Pie
Egg Nog
and whatever else I can think of in the next day or so.

Oh I need to go to the store and get the last of the yummy supplies to cook with today.

I love Thanksgiving. It is my favorite holiday.
I am on call however.
Please please please... No babies on Thanksgiving or all night before that magicall food goodness day. I really just want to cook and eat stupid amounts of comfort food that make it uncomfortalbe to get off the couch. Universe I hope you got me on this one.

I think this year we will have to do the Thankful chain to remind us all how wonderful our lives really are even with the complexities. I love my family so very much.

By the way I am thankful for all of my friends here. I appreciate all of your wise words.
