I'm embarrassed to say the bike race didn't happen, well not for me. A friend that I work with is being audited by the state health plan and I had to help her until midnight. So no biking for me yesterday and I was too tired to swim this morning. I guess that's just how it goes. My intention is that next week is a heavy week for training. We are all done with the audit and all back in good health. So on we go.
On the home front my mother so kindly told the kids they don't have to live here if they aren't happy. So.... When your 9 and someone tells you that what happens to your little brain. She also got into it with the 12 year old, the one that I got into it with. Ugh. I am feeling so mellow with everyone this week too. For my mom on the other hand apparently after being a mother of only 1, me, she doesn't really understand the dynamics of 5. It is hard, but not always. This year is actually a lot easier, but not for her. I told her she has to get used to it. I have 5 kids and I would rather her be the grandma that they like than the one that they can't stand. Wonder how that will go over. It really is amazing that so many people in so many places live in extended family households. I don't really like it. It was apparently a fantasy that I had that we would all be happy and get along. I'm like that.
On the job front I'm off to Portland for the day. I will be going to hang at one of the birth centers up there to talk about preeclampsia. Fun stuff you know. I do look forward to a trip to P-town.
Oh and by the way the weather is awesome.

That is rather odd
I wonder if it has a tolerance building aspect?
