Well well well... It's Christmas. Well I haven't had Christmas yet really. My kids come back home on Saturday. I can't wait. I miss them terribly.

I had a long cold night last night. My throat is sore and my ears hurt. frown I do not really like being an ice princess. I did however figure out that I am still quite the survivor. I was cooking in a coleman oven on top a coleman stove last night. I had a pyrex dish in it. When I took the dish out the air was so cold that the dish exploded. That was quite the mess to clean up by candle light. The family was happy though. I kept them well fed and warm the entire time. They didn't really know how cold I was. So to say the least I am so happy to be warm at home tonight.

I have more to tell and pics to show. That'll come later. This storm has really taken it out of me.

hahah they ARE happy , but the thing I was impressed with is that , they are not jaded or assholey yet. They were excited about every present, even socks...thanked each person so sincerly ..that was nice...

Your hubby picked a crappy day indeed to drive through Pocatello! The streets have been pretty slick since we got that 10 inches of snow last Monday and it has been snowing off and on since then. I think we have a couple feet on the ground right now, and that's really unusual for this area. Add in the 25-45 mile an hour sustained winds for most of the week and it has been just lovely here wink But...at least we are not living in Spokane anymore cuz they have over 4 feet on the ground! eek:

I can SO relate to just about everything you wrote in your message love! Our Christmas was really very special with just the two of us for the first time, but it also seemed a little strange at times without the kids around...I am sure it was hard not having yours with you. I always feel that way deep inside when Flashmo leaves for his trips, whether or not I show it to him or not I am generally crying inside. I guess after so many years together you reach a point in time where you just need them! It is not that I am not able to take care of things on my own, it is just very hard to do and life is just empty for me when he is not home. Anyway, hope he gets back home to you soon!
