I'm up in Portland. Just like Oregon there is a big gray cloud over my head and blue skies all around it. I love it here. Not Portland, just Oregon.
I am sitting at a place called Staccato Gelato in the Sellwood area having a cup of coffee and a scoop of white chocolate almond raspberry gelato. Yummy. To think just yesterday I swore off sugar. Oh well. Maybe tomorrow.
I was in Treatment of Shock and IV therapy class all day today. My arms are sore from being a human pin cussion as are the women I was working with. I don't start IV's very often, hence not so good at it. I must have hit a nerve in her arm. She was sore the rest of the day. ughhhh.
Class is from 8am-9pm tomorrow. I am wondering now who schedules classes like that. That is a long long day. I will survive though. What other choice do I really have??? This is all required for me state license.
So I'll be up here through Sunday at my $500 classes. OH the beauty of it. OH well it's worth it. I am learning.
One of my new apprentices is in the class with me. We have only met a couple times. She let me know she thinks that I have the best figure ever. hahahhaha. I haven't heard that in a long time. You see I have put on a bit of weight since winter. I'm so not happy about it. So she made me smile today. It was very sweet.
I'm off to crash at a friends house for the eve.
Hoping to catch dmac and flimsy while am up here. WE'll see what happens.

We are open to go anywhere. If you think the wait will be too much at Nicholas', or just want to try some place new... anything is cool. Give me a call. There are tons of places in Sellwood even. We'll figure something out.
