Drove up to P-town today and took my skills exam. It went great. I just love what I do, so it made the whole exam thing a bit less stressful.
Portland it a long drive though. It's about 2 1/2 hours away.
So with a drive there and back and a test and a visit with a friend I am a bit beat.
Flimsy and my schedule clashed so we didn't meet up. Maybe later in the week, as I have to go back up Thursday-Sunday.
I really am beat.
I talked on the phone with my friend Keleigh for 2 hours on the drive home. She was my teenage friend. Last year her hubby, the love of her life, got in a car accident that paralyzed him. She is a strong woman and she loves her husband so much. It was so good to catch up with her. We lost track of each other for over 10 years until last year a couple weeks before her hubby got into the accident. It's weird how timing works.
It feels like I need a nap. It's just to darn hot. I need to go and get a hotel room with AC. That would be so nice.
