Happy Mother's Day everybody.
I love being a mother. I feel so blessed with the loves that I have in my life.
and....it's always entertaining.
My youngest is smelling the dog's butt. What a freak!!!!!!
Yes, I said smelling the dog's butt. He says he is a dog.
Again....WHAT A FREAK!!!!
It's been a great weekend so far.
I spent Friday and Saturday up in P-town.
I went to a waterbirth credentialing class at Legacy taught by Barbara Harper. I love her. We are great friends. It was a nice class nothing to new for me. I have taken several classes I just decided it would be nice to go through a credentialling. Now I can hang it up in the lobby at the birth center. I just think it is a nice lilttle extra.
Then Saturday I went to a Naturopathic Midwives conference. It was lovely.
What I came up with was we all need to be taking Vitamin D, probiotics and we need to be eating Organic. We are just killing ourselves one generation at a time.
We also did a workshop on Biodynamic birthing, which basically means primal and undisturbed. I pretty much try to practice that way. It was a great class.
Most exciting in P-town I ate lots of really great food.
Thai, BBQ, Lebanese (Nicholas's) and the biggest breakfast I have ever seen in my entire life.
I also got to hang with a my dear dear friend Kathie. She works at the hospital so we just hung out there and visited. It was nice though I missed her.
I was asked if I wanted to take over the birth center this weekend.
My mouth just kind of dropped open.
soooooo.... I guess I will be having a bit more on my plate in the future.
I just need to remember that there are no true obstacles in life.
I have faith that this will be a wonderful transition over a couple years I am hoping.
Fuck.... pray for me OK.
