The weekend has been lovely.

Good friends are essential to good lives. I had a nice chat with a very good friend last night.



Then I woke up at 11:30. That is just a freaky thing for my life. Sleeping until 11:30 --> who does that? I did and it was so cool.



Then the 8 year old went off the play laser tag with some friends. He was really excited. The 12 year old on the other hand is becoming quite anti-social with his friends and he only wants to hand with the grown ups. It's cool though. He miisses me. I like it when he wants to hang out at home.

So we went out to breakfast, had good food, lots of coffee and we read the weekly. Oh if you haven't readSavage Love you need to. It is so bizarre. Our weekly paper comes out on Thursdays, but we typically read it on Saturday mornings. I also love Rob Brezney's Free Will Astrology Horoscopes.
I guess this is my Saturday routine. I love a little rountine in my life.

We added some other things this morning. My 12 year old wanted to make some homemade rootbeer. So off the the brew shop we went. $50 later we have all the ingredients, 4 - 1 gallon glass jugs and a book that I picked up, Sacred and Herbal Healing Beers. OK so I think I may end up with a new hobby. Herbal brews. I think I know what everyone will be getting for Christmas next year. Thats right ---> rootbeer and herbal beers. We will make out own labels too. Doesn't that sound so fun?



Later this evening I will be going to do a prenatal on a friend. She is about 20 weeks pregnant now. It will be nice to see her.
