my eyes are heavy and I sleep not
my life takes me on interesting adventures
committment and curiosity have awarded me the opportunity to be a gatekeeper.



San Gervasio was a site dedicated to the Mayan goddess Ixchel ("She of the Rainbows"), deity of midwifery, fertility, medicine and weaving. Many women from the mainland Mayan settlements made the pilgrimage here to Ixchels shrine at some point in their lifetime.

Sleepless.
More work to do.
I love it so much.

Sleep would be lovely. I've got a cold (well, it's almost gone) but now my son has it and I'm sure the girls will each get it (one at a time of course) and then, the Mr. so it'll probably be awhile before I get good sleep again. Such is the life of a mama huh?
