Ikea is SO my friend!
evertime I go there I get so inspired to make my appartment fan-tabulous! today I decided to trash the old stand-up lamp in the corner of my appartment and find a nice new tube-shaped paper one at Ikea. it rocks!
I also decided (due to my new found desire to re-vamp my appartment thanks to Ikea) to host a potlock at my place on the 2nd since the 3rd is a holiday. I usually never have large parties at my place but I have pretty cool neighbors and equally cool friends who wont mind the lil guy being around (he's 3 and a half) so hopefully I'll take my appartment-cleaning one step up a notch and make my lil basement-place a total haven for my get-together.
A friend of mine also offered to watch the lil one if he doesn't go out NYE however I'm still 50/50 as to whether I wanna go out...trying to sell this painting online to make some extra dough
