i'm so glad i didn't have to drive my ass to work today in this. on my old schedule, i would've been out before the sanding/salting trucks! instead i went out to eat with my girl and then did a little shopping and errand running. we went to mcalister's which is the damn-diggity BOMB. i love their sweet tea. im a sucker for sweet tea 
i got my moms xmas present in the mail yesterday finally. i bought her a pair of TOMS for xmas so im giving something to her... and a child somewhere that needs a pair of shoes. they're really neat. check them out, watch their video. i like that its a true one-for-one.. not "proceeds go to this fund" or anything like that where its not exactly spelled out how much $$ they're donating with your purchase.
i wish i had more to give back this holiday season. i know i bitch about money, but there are so, so, so, SO many more families that are far worse off than mine. in that respect i'm blessed. sometimes i really just need to remember that i have a roof over my head and a full tummy.
i've got some doctors appointments coming up this week and next. already made that deductible... might as well make the rounds one last time! get more contacts, see the girly doctor, go back to the dermatologist... that way ill be good *hopefully* for another few months and wont have to worry about monies going to that.
