I did the show, but under some rather trying circumstances. Ten minutes before I left to do the show I got a call from Atlanta saying my sister had gone to the ER for cardiac arythmia. I performed in something of a state of shock, my cell phone on vibrate so as not to miss any updates.
She's back home now, and has been put on beta blockers. Everything was normal except the EKG was slightly wonky. We think that a major contributor was the fact that she had that horrible flu and, of course, treated it with all manner of DayQuil, NyQuil, Robitussin, etc. etc. and most recently was on a powerful antibiotic. There were enough stimulants and sudephidrenes in her to launch a small rocket.
I'll try to talk to her tomorrow. Jaybus what a month it has been...
Friday night is our "Celtic Christmas" program at a local club. For the six or eight people that show up, I think they'll get a good show:
