Such an amazing evening. I wish I were able to write a treatise involving the surreal impression of walking on a tiny, ever-narrowing trail through thick underbrush, with the crescent moon as the only light, each others breath the only sound. The cold salt air left our cheeks rouged and our bones chilled.... my mind is still too dull from sleep to go into the detail that would properly justify the experience.
I need to see the stars more often.
.. and despite what she said, I don't think I'm a bad person for not liking sunrises.

This afternoon, during the brief interval today that I was not in bed, we stumbled into the recycled book store. I ended up spending all of my cash-on-hand, victorious in my stack of books with cool titles. Among my loot was one book I didn't particularly want - and independently published bit about a mans unscientific Antarctic adventures. It was recommended by the cute girl that works there, and she gave me a copy of the first issue of her feminist 'zine. I felt that six bucks for the unwanted book was well spent - I had an excuse have a brief intelligent conversation with the cute girl, and the boy had something to tease me about on the car ride home.
I think I like people today. But then again, I'm only had contact with three or four of them.
