So we're waiting to hear back about our apartment application. Its a little stressful, like a job interview. Fig leaves Texas on Friday, and should hit California by Sunday. If all goes well, thats our move-in date. Wish us luck... if we don't get this one, I'm afraid it means a couple nites on the floor of my studio apartment for Fig! (and she broke the air mattress last time she was here, so it won't be comfortable!)


Its an amazing day today... the weather was exceptional, and I saw the first poppies and lupines of the season on my way home from my parents. It makes me smile... and I wonder why I'm sitting outside instead of enjoying my wine on the patio.

I love this stuff. I have a feeling Fig and I will spend way too much money on this website decorating the new apartment. (its a lot more space than either of us currently occupy = lots of space to fill up)
