Sorry I have been mia. I have been really sick, I am really sick. I am going to the doctors today FINALLY. I have to. My throat is sore, my ears hurt, my chest is full of icky stuff that is making me cough so bad I can't breathe...I think it is time to suck it up and just go. I is probably the flu but we will see.
I am FREEZING too! My house is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO cold and this is not good because it is supposed to be like -2 tomorrow with 45 mph winds. Yeah I am so fucking screwed. Forgotten has been to my house and he can tell you how cold it is even on the not so cold days. I know turn up the heat...doesn't work. Old house drafty house, one vent for the downstairs area. There a vent in the living room and I have a heater in there so if I keep the door shut it will warm up...a bit. Nick has the warmest room. I think I may sleep in the living room tonight and tomorrow and Annabelle can sleep on Nick's floor in a sleeping bag. Being that I am already freezing because I am sick I may not make it through tomorrow.
I also have had a lot of personal shit going on that I really don't want to get into. I tend to get quiet when I have stuff to deal with on this outside world. Quiet here and quiet out there.

On a much better note! Nicholas has been playing the recorder for the last two years. He has done so well that yesterday they told him he made the band. It means he gets to go to recorder band club every day and play with the 5th graders...not only that but he was chosen to write a song all by himself. He is calling it Ocean Fire. It is coming along really well. He worked on it last night. I am so impressed. I can't wait for him to pick up a different instrument. I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO proud of him and the best thing is that he is really proud of himself. So this song he is writing the whole band has to learn and they are going to play it at an assembly for the whole school. How cool is THAT?!?!?!?! He wants to play the guitar...I should send him for lessons NOW!
Annabelle got to have a special lunch with the music teacher because she is also doing really well. In 1st grade there are not instruments, she gets her recorder next year like Nick did, but they sing and they dance. She has been doing SO well, her and her partner Adam that the music teacher wanted to do something nice for them. So they had fancy food and people servered them their lunch, the had the table all decked out. She was SO excited! I am REALLY REALLY REALLY exicted and proud of them both!!!! They were both sick for a bit. Some how I am the one it hit the worst. Its okay with me. I would rather be sick then see them be sick.

Okay I am going to pass out now. Wish me luck at the doctors. I will try to catch up and be a better friend when I feel better.

UPDATE: I have a double ear infection and broncitis. I feel so crappy. I am going to pass out on the couch now as soon as I am done cooking for the kids.
