so i was having a thought about genders and everything, and androgeny b/c i consider myself pretty androgenous, i have my moments where im so called "girly" Aand o have my moments when im not...i just think androgeny isnt feeling like a "boy" or "girl" the whole meaning of androgeny is that there is no specific gender...not that the person or thing is asexual, just that there is no specific gender....why do we see boys as "boys"??? and why are girls "girls"??? its all socially done to us, why does one have of feel like a certain gender, either or? why cant they be both? or a mixture of the two so called genders? why cant that person just feel like themselves? some traits of that person would be seen as "girly" and others would be seen as "boyish", however these are just what people have been taught to think. the whole conception of androgeny means there are no genders, and no one fits into one category, we are who we are, and just because some girls dont wear pink dresses doesnt make them a tom boy and just because some boys dont wear blue jeans and play baseball doesnt make them a girly boy...its just who they are....so in general most people fit into the androgenous lifestyle, because its just who they are! and i believe that the people who live those extremes arent letting themselves out, for they were taught to act a certain way just because of the sex written on their birth certificate.
