SO! Decent birthday. Thanks for any and all birthday greetings anyone reading this gave me. Laser Led Zeppelin at MoS's college night was the Awesomeness. I got a couple of neat presents, including a hat that = hipster + Darth Vader.

Man, my roommate's talking about how she'll never get a boyfriend and she'll be a 40-year-old spinster, and I'm going to hit her, because I know she's hooked up with someone recently, which is more than I can say for me, so I'm a little bitter and she's a little ditzy and naive. On the bright side, I'm getting better at ignoring her. *sigh*

Oh man, and I found myself in my own little personal hell today for a moment. I was riding my bike home, and crossing the street ahead of me was a line of girls in a tour group. They were all wearing Uggs. There must have been 30 of them, and damned if I could tell them apart. It was awful. I was openly gaping and pointing. I mean, let's set aside for the moment that it was 85 out today and they were wearing insulated boots. And let's set aside the fact that (thank goodness) they're not even really that fashionable anymore. THEY'RE UGLY! My god, it was awful! I hope they noticed me freaking out at their uniformity. Definitely going to have nightmares about that one tonight.

So would it be a bad idea for me to make up fortune cookies with my name and email inside them and hand them out to cute guys?
